Monthly Archives: January 2012.jpg) It’s been a busy wedding season, and I have basically been planted at my computer processing day and night. I needed to get out and photograph something for me, something that wouldn’t have a deadline. So off I went with the kids. It was last Friday……..which I think was the hottest day EVER. Jake…  You may remember Elaine and Joe’s Wedding at the gorgeous Carmel Mission back in April. Just finished designing their album! Here’s the link……. www.shannonstellmacherphotography.com/extra/elaineandjoe  Ritisha and John were married at Atwood Ranch ….one of the most amazing locations for a vineyard wedding in Sonoma! I was touched by how much they were loved by friends and family, and of course, by the love they felt for one another. It was a beautiful day! The gorgeous floral arrrangements were provided by… .jpg) On a recent visit to the beach in San Diego, my son Jake was especially passionate about capturing some really cool sunset images! For his sixth birthday, he wanted a camera more than he wanted new toys, which really says something since he loves his toys! Now, whenever I go out to scout locations, he always…  I’m off to shoot what is sure to be a gorgeous wedding at Atwood Ranch in Glen Ellen. I’ll have images up later this week! Here are a few images from earlier this week while at Valley of the Moon Winery.  I must admit that I often forget how hip San Francisco is. Since I mostly work in the wine country, Carmel, or on the beaches of San Diego…….this urban wedding rekindled my city spirit. If I had time, I would just go hang at the Clift Hotel and people watch with camera in hand. Dominik and Mukund were married…  Asal and Arash celebrated their wedding day in gorgeous Del Mar amongst a loving and lively group of friends and family. They laughed, danced to the beat of intoxicating Persian music, cried…….and danced some more. It was one of the most joyful weddings I have photographed…….and even though I hadn’t met them before the wedding day, I felt connected to…  I had been looking forward to photographing Brenna and Wayne’s wedding since they booked me about a year ago. I’ve enjoyed getting to know them, and just like I knew it would be, their wedding day was simply gorgeous. Thank you for allowing me to document your beautiful day!
