I had such a great time photographing Lexine and Mike’s San Diego wedding. Friends and family came to town from all over to celebrate. The ceremony was at Cuvier Park in La Jolla, and it couldn’t have been more beautiful! The sun was shining, and the best part was Lexine’s grandpa who officiated. He warmed our hearts with words of wisdom based on 61 years of marriage to his lady love. He talked about taking time to “slow down” and really appreciate each other. In these busy times when we all work so hard, it was meaningful to hear such great advice from someone who’s been around long enough to know what he’s talking about! After the ceremony, we headed to the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego for the reception. Thanks so much for a wonderful day, and to Lexine and Mike’s family for being so gracious. Happiness to you both!!

San Diego Wedding ~ Asal and Arash

Asal and Arash celebrated their wedding day in gorgeous Del Mar amongst a loving and lively group of friends and family. They laughed, danced to the beat of intoxicating Persian music, cried…….and danced some more. It was one of the most joyful weddings I have photographed…….and even though I hadn’t met them before the wedding day, I felt connected to them immediately. Maybe it was Asal’s warm smile and excitement, or the tender gaze between them….maybe it was the trust they put in me to capture their special memories. Thank you Asal and Arash for letting me share in your joy!!

Hotel Del Coronado San Diego ~ Beach Wedding

Hollywood Producers Adam and Claudia with Joss Media, celebrated their wedding at the historic Hotel Del Coronado. It was a beautiful yet unassuming celebration that I enjoyed being a part of. They had a small and intimate ceremony surrounded by their family and dearest friends.

The Hotel Del is always a great choice for a wedding, as the grounds are extensive, it’s on the beach, and of course, there are numerous places within the hotel to utilize for photography. I love it most during the weekdays when it is less crowded!

Matt and Kane with Northstar Session, a local band in LA, and close friends with the Groom, performed the opening songs. Their music can be heard on PBS “Roadtrip Nation” and Discovery Channel’s “Surgery Saved my Life”, to name a few.

The ceremony was officiated by Grant with A Beautiful Wedding. I have worked with Grant and Renate numerous times, and they always do such an amazing job. My favorite part of the ceremony was the hand washing ritual………so beautiful.

The flowers were done by LaVonne at Adorations , and were just stunning. Claudia had asked for a classic yet beachy look, and the end result couldn’t have been more perfect!

Leah and Brian got married at The El Cortez in San Diego. It was a beautiful day, and they were just the most adorable couple ever. They were so fun and relaxed, it really made our job easy! The hot pink, black and lime green color scheme was amazing, and looked just stunning in the Don Room where the ceremony was held!
