It was a pleasure to photograph Charlotte and Coley who eloped in the Napa Valley. I love the intimacy and simplicity of these types of weddings. They flew in from Southern California that morning, picked up their little cake from Sweetie Pies in Napa, quickly got dressed and met me downtown. Absolutely fabulous!! There are many more images to come, but here are a few for now…….

Another beautiful wedding at V. Sattui Winery in St. Helena! Heather and Jay came up to the Napa Valley from Vegas, and were so much fun to work with. It was truly an amazing day with lots of love, laughter, and a few tears! Thank you Heather and Jay for having me along to share in your day, and for being so great despite the heat! It was a beautiful day for a wedding at the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. Erin was a stunningly gorgeous bride, and Andy a simply dashing groom. The chemistry between the two of them was like magic……. It was wonderful to photograph them, and to be a part of their day.
Thank you to a fantastic team of San Francisco Bay Area vendors who helped make this day extra special. Erin brought her hair stylist up from Beverly Hills…….and I could see why when I saw how beyond amazing her hair was! Be sure to check out Dean Roybal at Planet Salon. Vanessa and Doug were married at the lovely Hans Fahden Winery in Calistoga. Mary Ann and David were married last weekend at the Madrona Manor in Healdsburg. We hit it off immediately, and I felt so honored that they chose me to photograph their wedding day. It was a joy to be a part of such a special time, and capture the beauty of it all. I knew the moment I met them, that they were special people. My feelings were confirmed during the ceremony and toasts……a time when I really get to know more about my clients by seeing how much they are loved by others…..and they are loved! Mary Ann said she wanted to take me back to LA with her……and I was tempted to go! I wish you both many years of happiness!

Maybe it was the downtown Napa location that inspired the vintage feel for this wedding. Maybe it was that we started so early in the morning before the hustle and bustle. The Sunday morning quiet, and crisp morning light is what made the first image possible.

What a beautiful wedding! Rock on, rockstar!!!
OK…….so it wasn’t really winter when I captured these images, but late fall. I was on my way to a session nearby, and just had to stop. I didn’t even realize where I was at first. I was just enjoying the beauty of it. The old building……. the ivy, the light, the colors of the leaves, and the pomegranate tree full of fruit. “Oh yeah, I could live here” I thought. I grabbed my camera for a few quick shots, and that’s when I realized that it was the Kenwood Inn and Spa that had me hypnotized. No wonder I liked it so much!! A reality check was in order, and quick; I had a session to shoot down the road after all.

Well I have been a busy girl processing all my fabulous fall weddings. It really was a memorable season filled with the best clients and gorgeous weddings.
