Carmel Wedding Photography | Alicia and Ken

It was a joy to photograph Alicia and Ken’s Carmel Wedding. I always enjoy the opportunity to shoot there.  This wedding was especially fun since Alicia had been a bridesmaid in a wedding  I photographed a few years ago.  The bride from that wedding was a bridesmaid for Alicia this time around, and it was wonderful to see her and hubby again….and their beautiful new baby.  It’s wonderful how things come around full circle in this business, and I am always so thankful for the amazing people I meet.   It was a relaxed day, full of love, laughter and fun!  Alicia glowed in her Maggie Sottero dress and pink shoes!
We had a blast shooting off site at Monterey’s San Carlos Cathedral. This exquisite church was founded in 1770 on the shores of Monterey Bay, and is the oldest continuously functioning church!  It is also the first stone building built in California!  The Church is in the process of being restored, and is truly magnificent!  Of course, so were Ken and Alicia when they posed nearby at this really cool rubble wall!
